Congratulations. My daughter is at UCLA and loves it.
S25 struggled with the same decision in early May. UCLA was his dream school plus living close to home in OC.

Not sure what you decided but my D24 got into Berkeley, got off UCLA waitlist and chose Berkeley. She enjoyed her first year at Berkeley. But her major was business and UCLA doesn’t have an undergraduate business program and it’s bizecon is not direct admit. I believe either Berkeley or LA would be great for you…congrats!

The waitlist closes when UCLA decides to close it.

The UCLA Waitlist closed on the following dates:
2022 on August 19
2023 on July 31
2024 on July 31
if rejected off waitlist, can u appeal?
Most campuses allow you to appeal a waitlist rejection but I would check with admissions to confirm.
For UCLA, only 5 approved appeals from 1962 submitted last year and unfortunately no details are given if they regular decisions appeals and/or waitlist appeals.
UC did publish the preliminary undergraduate admissions summary today for the incoming class that’s entering in Fall 2025.
