does anyone know if its a good idea to email our regional admissions officers to express that UCLA is still our top choice? i want to maximize my chances but i don’t want to bother the admissions officers and hurt my chances by emailing them.

According to Reddit, yes, but very few (like 1-2 people have mentioned). Hopefully, more will come in the coming days, but fingers crossed for today.

UCLA does not consider an applicants level of interest in the admissions process. Opting into the waitlist and submitting your grades and waitlist statement shows you want to attend UCLA.

Only admissions will know when they will be admitting more waitlisted students including Internationals. I have only seen OOS waitlist admits so far.

Does UCLA release acceptances for OOS College of L&S and Engineering in different waves, or do you think there’re already some Engineering acceptances?

They have no set pattern to releasing waitlist admits. I have only seen L&S admits no Engineering.

Did anyone else get an updated (as of this morning) red font that states:
