I am guessing they posted that today because they are about to offer some spots to people off their waitlist.
As of this morning May 1, 1 admit from the Waitlist posted Business Economics OOS and 1 In-state Undeclared Social science.
Update: In-state Chemistry major, Political science and Business Econ admitted.

When will internationals get off? I haven’t seen any news on reddit

S26 accepted UCSD yesterday, but this morning at 7 AM PST he received an email from UCLA and was admitted to the CS major. UCLA is his dream school, so he will be attending. We are so happy for him. We are in state.

okay. I was mainly asking as I’ve seen reports of OOS and IS getting off the waitlist, but hadn’t heard of any news of internationals getting off. Thank you
I have seen 2 OOS waitlist admits and the rest are In-state. Please note that not all admitted students will post on any social media sites.
There were quite a few reports of waitlist movements on Reddit across different majors: Engineering, Cognitive Science, Human Biology and Society, Psychobiology… My student is a MIMG major and hasn’t heard back. Committed to Cal but heart is with UCLA. Are the waitlist movements at UCLA based on the major? If that is the case, has anyone heard of MIMG students getting off the waitlist? Thank you 
My daughter was waitlisted UCLA for sociology …. hasn’t heard back. She committed to UCSB (her second choice and is very happy) but I think still hoping to hear back

Hopefully the kids will hear back before housing has to be finalized 
my daughter is in the same situation but committed to UCSD but wanting to get off the waitlist for her 1st choice of UCSB. She’s losing hope as she keeps hearing about kids from her school getting off the WL but she hasn’t.
does anyone know if todays wave was for out of state and internationals? havent seen in state.

Son’s also a MIMG major! wondering if anyone got off for it. He’s currently committed to UCSD but would switch to LA in a heartbeat if he got off

We also contemplated UCSD as it is an excellent college and much closer to home. She was placed in Revelle which she wasn’t crazy about. It was really hard to decide where to commit. We’re going through the same anxiety now waiting for a waitlist decision as we did in the first round of acceptance

Last posted admit I saw which was on Reddit was June 4 OOS for CS.
UCLA has moved on to Transfers over the last few weeks.
