UCLA electrical engineering pre-reqs

English
Two transferable courses in English
composition are required.
Mathematics
Calculus and analytic geometry, calculus
of several variables, differential equations,
and linear algebra.
Physics
Calculus-based courses with labs in
mechanics of solids, vibration, wave motion,
sound, fluids, heat, electricity and
magnetism, electromagnetic waves, light,
and relativity.
Chemistry
Two terms of general chemistry with
lab. [Only one course in general chemistry
is required for computer science,
and computer science and engineering.]
One year of chemistry with lab is required
for bioengineering and chemical
engineering, and applicants to those
majors are encouraged to complete one
year of organic chemistry as well.
Computer programming
One course in FORTRAN, Java, C Programming
or C++. Applicants to Electrical
Engineering, Computer Science,
or Computer Science and Engineering
should take C++.
Biology
Applicants to Bioengineering: one year
of biology with lab for the major [cellular,
molecular, genetic].
Additional courses
Applicants to majors in the Henry
Samueli School of Engineering and
Applied Science must complete at least
one course from the humanities or
social sciences and are encouraged to
complete up to four courses in those
areas and one life science elective for
UC eligibility. Students may satisfy core
requirements by completing engineering
courses in statics, dynamics, strength
of materials, properties of materials,
and circuit analysis, depending on their
major.

<p>for most classes i know what they correspond to for ucsd, but some of the classes do not correspond directly to the ucsd classes, so i’m not sure which ones i would have to take at sd in order to meet all the pre-reqs (esp. computer science and GE’s like humanities and such)</p>
