@Ohm888 is it hard to change your major at new student orientation?
It depends on what you want to switch into. It could be easy.

did anyone apply for the tap scholarship? It said on the website that we would hear a decision on the 29th of July whether or not it was an acceptance or rejection. Has anyone heard anything?
WOW I JUST GOT ACCEPTED OFF THE WAITLIST (8/10). I’m so mad yet so ecstatic at the same time. Imagine already saying goodbye to everything in LA. I was so ready to move to SF. I got an apartment, and even already registered my fall classes for Cal. I was practically a BEAR for 4 months. But now I’m officially committing to the school I have always dreamt of going to; UCLA.

Hi y’all… super nervous for this application process, want to know what my chances are of actually getting into UCLA
Major: Microbiology
IGETC: Completed Winter 2019
Major Prep: Finish the required bio sequence (but will be missing 1 more bio class), finished gen. chem and organic chem sequence, finished calc 1 and 2, and will finish the recommended physics sequence by the time I do transfer.
GPA: 4.0
Honors: completed
TAP: yes
EC: President of a Church Youth Group, American Red Cross Club Activities Coordinator, NSLS inducted member, Work at a CPA firm (i know it has nothing to do with my major but for now it pays well), did hospital volunteer work in high school ( a lot of it) as well as was a girl scout
