I was also released from the waitlist today, pre-history; I received the email this morning. Looking forward to meeting some of you at orientation and best of luck to those still on the waitlist!
Have any of you who got off the waitlist been able to access your financial aid award letter? Mine isn’t showing up, and, seeing as how I have very few days to rescind my UCSB SIR and submit my SIR to UCLA, it’s really stressing me out. 
@capnlonelygale I have, I got an email where it had me establish my username/password then I logged into the link in the email for the provisional financial aid letter.
@potatowaiting Thanks for the response! Did you get the email to your UCLA email or main email? I already have an account with the site, so I guess mine just isn’t ready yet or something.
Anyone here is math economics major got off the waitlist?
@capnlonelygale I did as well! It came the same time as my admissions email. I got it through my main email.
Does anyone know if you also get considered for your alternative major if youre TAP certified?
My friend got in today from the waitlist with sociology!
@plsacceptme20 I had a friend who got in with her alternate major through TAP, but wasn’t on the waitlist like us. She got in on the original release date, hope this helps!

I forgot to add, but mines came in maybe 10-20 minutes after my results (actually how I found out how I got in lol) so I would probably call tomorrow? At least you can expedite the process possibly if they don’t send it today since I read that you were on a time crunch. Hopefully they give you your financial aid soon though!

@gokingsgo1999 nope, I highly doubt any decisions would come in on a Sunday. Sorta surprised that there were some yesterday. I highly suspect tomorrow their will be a massive “unleash” of decisions.

Okay so 3 of my friends got off the waitlist yesterday for English pre psychology and pre sociology
I kind of new they wouldn’t post today…but I was hoping they would surprise us like yesterday
If you got the email on Saturday, your decision was probably made on Friday evening. So, I think it is normal that some people get in on Saturdays. I don’t think there will be any acceptances tomorrow since the office is closed today. They will probably start sending them out on Tuesday.
I really love these theories everyone has on the decision process. For some reason it gives me hope ?
Is there hope for STEM major?
Dang there’s some pre-psych majors getting in so I’m praying I’ll be one of those people too
