No TAP and still waiting lol
All hope was almost gone at this point.
I am TAP certified and waiting still. No other Poli Sci majors that I know of that are waitlisted have not heard back either. Given that other majors had a high rate of acceptance (as compared to last year) I am surprised that Poli Sci has not heard back as of yet.
Losing all hope lol. Pre Econ major. No TAP. 3.93 gpa

Oof I hope we hear back by Friday. If not, I feel like next week will be filled with rejections. I guess we wait
Anyone applied for Computer Science Engineering major heard back from UCLA? I am currently admitted to USC and I start to like that school. It’s just so frustrated to wait for the UCLA’s result… I am going to wait till the end of this week, and I will fly back to China and start my vacation and just forget this drama.

I have 4.0GPA and done with every requirements for CS and IGETC. I am wondering if I should stay one more year in CCC. I have spent two years taking 94units. I SIR’d for UCI for CS major, and waitlisted for UCLA for CS major. I would like to go to graduate school after I get B.S degree. Should I stay one more year to get into UCB or UCLA? Or just go to UCI CS?any advice plz? I have no idea what to do.
@uclacsjhah honestly nowadays a bachelors degree is just another degree UCI is a great school hold off on the waitlist if you get it you get it if you don’t just go to Uci. In two years you can either graduate with a degree hopefully going into a better school than ucla for your masters or you can be waiting to graduate a year behind. Uci is a great school so idk why you should be confused. You have to also think about are you going into the school because of the name or because of the subject matter of it being helpful to what you want to do in the future.
I’m also cs major here and also have 4.0 gpa. I was thinking about the same thing as you do a month ago and I finally decided to go to ucsd cs. I don’t think staying an extra year worth it since I don’t think spending another year will enormously strengthen my application and I have done most of the courses. Staying in ccc would just be wasting money, especially for me as an international student.

TBH I don’t know why they aren’t just letting us know with that “application is closed” letter. I don’t think anyone else is getting in

I was just thinking UCLA might need to wait for final grades to be released so some people might be kicked out or placed on probation or something. Or they just might not be done with filling/making sure all the spots are taken.
Hopefully that is the case. For international student like me I have to submit the transfer form and create a new I-20. I guess we all running out of time. Hopefully they will made their decision by this week

We must not lose hope!! I think there is still a chance, hopefully as much people can be taken off of the waitlist as possible by the end of this month. I can see most people here, myself included, genuinely values this school.
Finger crossed and hope for the best! Congrats to those who got in, super happy for you guys, I can only imagine all the fun you’ll have in UCLA! Go Bruins!
Just curious about those who are still Waitlisted have you guys thought about other schools?
I already SIRed to Berkeley, but UCLA remains my top choice if it comes through
