@jjang25 ooo i feel like you’d love UCLA then! UCI student life seems great but UCLA also has a reaaally good student life quality; they’re very social. But yeah I agree, can’t go wrong with either! And yes I did submit an SIR to both and going to drop one very soon!
@nani9768 Thanks! I also summited the housing application already. I emailed them and they said they will start releasing the result in a couple weeks, so we can probably just wait for now
I called the admissions office today and they told me that they are still reviewing the application up until July 15 so until then it’s just a waiting game. My major is Business Econ with 3.93 gpa with good intern at Ernst and Young. For those of you who is still waiting good luck.

@minami123 My major is Human Biology & Society, B.S. and I got accepted on June 27th. But idk about other bio majors. My major takes very few applicants per year.
For anyone who’s worried about their housing situation at UCLA for having been a waitlisted applicant, I’d like to reassure everyone that I got accepted in late June and received a housing offer on July 3, less than a week after submitting my housing application and paying the $30 fee. And not only that, but I was offered my first choice: a deluxe double (though I’m thinking of filling out a change request form after I accept to see if there are still some deluxe triples so I can save money). I called housing and they said that the statement about housing not being guaranteed to people admitted late is wrong; that’s from admissions, not housing, I was told. Apparently, what admissions said on there is incorrect. Just FYI, they said all 1st, 2nd, and 3rd year students are guaranteed housing; we are not lottery applicants.
Does anyone know if the housing guarantees for off campus apartment also or just dorms?
@johnbcuong It guarantees for off campus apartment too, I got mine a few weeks ago.
For those who are already off the waitlist, what days were you guys accepted off the waitlist. Also, was anyone mailed an acceptance packet once they were taken off the waitlist?

@C0nNoR20 I got off the waitlist on 6/28/19, it was a Friday. As I remember, they were releasing decisions every day during that week. I have not received an acceptance packet though.
