I believe the waitlist for transfer students is ordered by availability in intended major, and/or department the major sits in whereas for first-year applicants, the waitlist is by College.
Anyone hear back yet for Biology?
Correction to my previous post: I called Admissions and they confirmed that waitlist offers for transfers are evaluated by availability in the major applied for–not department nor College. (I believe, however, this is only specific to those who applied for majors within the College of Letters and Science.) The representative I spoke with also confirmed that all waitlist decisions for transfers will be finalized by July 1. Best of luck to all of us!
