From what I’m getting after looking through the honors program’s webpage, honor students get exclusive counseling, extra library privileges, more opportunities for honors scholarship and awards, and graduate with honors. But I don’t see anywhere what the explicit requirements are to stay in this program. What do I need to do, along with what courses do I need to take, to graduate with honors? Is it worth it if I’m interested in med school and busting my rear as a biochem major? My friends want me to take chem 20AH with them, but I don’t know what the difference is between 20A and 20AH other than the honors designation.

Also, anybody have any info for me about the spanish placement exam? I did four years of high school spanish, how well would I do on the test? How should I study for it, meaning how is the test structured?

Anywho, back on topic bump. I’ve been browsing pre-med topics (should’ve mentioned that) and the vibe I’m getting is to take the easiest classes to boost your GPA. If that’s the case, is the honors designation a bonus at all to med school apps? I’m getting the feeling the honors program is more of a burden for pre-meds.
