UCLA Housing Out

Why did so many people get the bottom of the barrel like this? I can’t believe how many of you got the same as me, a triple with a shared bath. I ONLY chose apartments for my preferences and this is what I get. UCLA already screwed me out of $100 just to submit a simple SIR, and now $30 just to get nothing even CLOSE to what I wanted?

I got to say, I was considering going to orientation before, but then I got a call the other day and found out it actually costs money too!! I’m considering skipping it now because if it’s like so far, I’ll be getting screwed out of money for literally nothing!!!

@ bmop… what syntaxx said.

@ simon… you’ve got it backwards, man. you’ve got to get your priorities crooked.

@ king… you’re complaining about <$300 when tuition costs nearly $10,000? seriously?

I got a Single, Shared Bath @ Hedrick Summit. :]

Anyone have any feedback on Hedrick? I heard it’s really far from the campus or something. Also… I’m happy, but unhappy because it’s super expensive… This means I share my bathroom with someone else right?

I’m trading my Rieber Vista, anyone want it for a De Neve?

MSG ME ASAP thanks

pinkerfloyd: I don’t know about you, but I’m a student and on a budget. I don’t have money to throw around for apparently no reason. Every dollar counts.

tuition is like… 8300 , you can round it way up to 9000 to accomodate for any fee increases.

Reiber Terrace
Triple, Shared Bath

Does anyone know how difficult it is to switch? I want De Neve.

whats so special about a de neve? plaza im assumin?

wow. i got sunset, triple. wanted apartments… literally put all the apartment options before the suits and dorms and what not. jasdlkjfalksdjfs time to go apartment shopping i guess.

btw: when/how do we see our potential roommates?

can you accept and then decline?

yea, does anyone know when we get the emails of our potential roommates if we requested it?

really now? it has the best location, the nicest facilities, and it looks sick. deneve is more expensive compared to the others for a reason… because it really is just that good.

this conversation makes me wish Cal had UCLA type of housing… :/

chibi, really? is it really that good? Wow, I’m feeling good about it now. I was starting to feel left out because only two people so far on CC are De Neve.

de neve is reallllly sick. they are considered one of the nicest dorms in the country. there’s a maid that cleans them too. you have AC. and they have their own bathrooms! if i went to UCLA, i would have killed for de neve.

someone start a poll up.

De Neve
Triple

Oh snapssssssss

Yeah beardy! That makes 4 of us now!

go De Neve!

conn1ex3: I got rieber terrace triple shared bath too!

does anybody know what number to call to get this financial aid/housing issue sorted out??? I’m really confused…

Has anyone else already submitted their acceptance of their housing? Kinda anxious to know what building I’m in/who my roommates are.
