where are you guys looking? will you please post the link?

hmm I’m only living on campus for TSP… for the school year I found a private room / Private bath right near campus. I didn’t want to risk not being able to keep my car.

so which sheets / comfort pack are you talking about?!

You shouldn’t worry since you won’t be living on campus. I think it’s only if you chose to live on campus, since I already accepted my housing offer. Then you get this packet with this information.

Thank goodness I have senior friends with cars…haha!

I have no idea as I am overseas. My caretaker told me she received it in the mail, but it’s super worth it. The thing with the whole pak is that the sheets and such are the perfect size fit for the beds over there, which is the whole deal I was worrying about. :/

Some things I know are in package (also depends which one you pick, there are three different options):
-Mattress Pad
-2 Pillows
-4 Pillow Cases
-2 Bath Towels
-2 Hand Towels
-2 Washcloths
-Fleece Blanket
-2 different types of sheets.
-Hamper
-Reversible Comforter

There’s more, there’s actually 24 pieces in the biggest plan (which is app. $199), but these are the only things I can think of on the top of my head. =/ I’m sure someone else got the packet and will let you know.

i got that thing in the mail too, and i haven’t accepted the housing offer yet. did you already decline it shawneee? the package i got in the mail says that the comforter/sheets are custom made for ucla beds, because the beds are not standard (they aren’t twin, they are some other weird size)

They aren’t necessarily custom made, they’re trying to fool you with the whole “Regular Sheets Won’t Fit Our Beds” slogan. You can find twin XL sheets/comforters/etc at all home stores (Target, BB&B, IKEA, Wal Mart, etc), especially now since everyone is dorm shopping. Twin XL is a bit longer than a regular twin sized mattress, but the same width I believe.

@johnny - I think it depends on where you live and the social environment…? I’m not sure. Some buildings and floors have their own weekly gatherings, but some don’t.
