UCLA - M.Arch-II Supra-studio versus University of Colorado, Denver- M.Arch- 2 year track

The UCLA - M.Arch-II Supra-studio is a one year program with a major Studio in Entertainment. It is also a STEM program. While the University of Colorado, Denver is a 2 year M.arch program( NAAB Accredited).
Which course will have better job prospects in U.S.A and also if I intend to study for second Masters, which of the the above program would help me to secure admission in one of the leading Universities.

@Nutidave, They are both good programs but differ in focus. UCLA’s Suprastudio takes an interdisciplinary approach between technology and various industries, including entertainment. (I’m not clear what STEM refers to in this context.) UCLA attracts outstanding faculty and visiting critics.

Job prospects in the US for international graduates are difficult to predict. It can be done, but it’s not guaranteed. UCLA’s program is prestigious and presumably contacts could lead to employment upon graduation, but again, it’s not guaranteed. Your ability to become licensed with this degree would depend on the standing of your undergraduate degree. If you’re thinking about working in California, read the state’s licensing requirements. You may or may not have what’s needed to start the process.

I don’t know much about Colorado-Denver’s reputation. (Colorado-Boulder is well known for environmental design.) It appears that Colorado-Denver is more sustainability and environment focused. Your employment prospects would be related to the connections your make and the internships that you hold while you are enrolled. With this degree you could begin the licensing process which is a positive to many hiring firms.

Not sure why you would want to pursue a second MArch on top of either one. Why not just apply (or re-apply if that’s the problem) to “leading universities” instead of piling another degree on top?
