UCLA states that to apply for the MSW program you must have completed an elementary statistics course with a B or better. I took the elementary stats course at my uni and got a C. If i take it again, i will have to take it for no credit and there is the possibility that I won’t even get into UCLA. Would I be able to talk to admissions about why my grade in the course is so low? Or would I have to re-take the course to apply? How strict is this requirement?
