<p>Hi, I was thinking of doing a program with Summer Discovery at UCLA this summer. I would take two college-credit courses, which would amount to 8 UCLA credits in total. Do you think this would help my application to UCLA or any of the UCs? I am an international student.</p>
<p>Just by looking at the website, it’s easy to tell that this program is more party than study… with all the weekend trips and evening outings and stuff, it’s obvious that the atmosphere focuses very little on academics. For that amount of money, you’d be WAY better off doing a higher quality program at another university, and it would probably help you more.</p>
