I’ve recently submitted my SIR to attend UCLA as a Nursing major. I have taken French all four years of high school, though I know that only an AP test (which I will not be taking) can fulfill a foreign language requirement. I was under the impression that I would have to try to test into French 4 with the Placement Test at orientation, but looking at the projected course load for Nursing and after a little unsuccessful research nothing seems to indicate that Nursing majors need a foreign language. Does anyone know if the School of Nursing doesn’t require this for graduation? A contact of someone in the program would also be helpful. Thanks!

Congrats! I heard it is the hardest major to get into at UCLA undergrad.
