UCLA Russian language proficiency test

Hello, not sure if anyone can help me with this. But, I am currently a CCC student and when I was in 10th grade I took the Russian language proficiency and passed it with a “B” grade. I got language credit for the test but I was wondering if this test also gives me college credit (college units/ affects my GPA.)

I was told using a high school grade to fulfill a requirement would transfer the credit and the grade. (not sure how true that is though)

Make sure you have at least 2 years of it though. (or was it 1?)

yeah, since I got a B on the test I recieved the 2 year language requirement and on my highschool transcript it says I got a B in Russian 3AB. I was just wondering if this affects my college GPA because it was a test administered by UCLA.

I was told yes, but definitely get a second opinion (preferably from someone with authority)

Do you know where I can find someone with authority that would know for sure? I was told to contact the UCLA Russian department but I have had a hard time reaching them.

Talk to a counselor at your CC, then make sure what they said is true with your transfer counselor. After which, I’d probably shoot off an e-mail to UCLA’s admissions people.
