UCLA Scholarships/deadlines

There should a a single thread with all the information about UCLA scholarships.

I did not expect to get into UCLA, so I never brushed up on scholarship information. Which scholarships can I still apply to?

The Alumni Scholarships are still accepting applications: [UCLA Alumni Association](<a href=“Blog - รับให้คำปรึกษาการศึกษาต่อต่างประเทศ แนะนำการขอทุนเรียนต่อ นิวยอร์ก UCL Alumni University College London おもちゃ 寄付 千葉 いらないおもちゃ 寄付 ใช้เงินน้อย ได้เงินคืน”>Blog - รับให้คำปรึกษาการศึกษาต่อต่างประเทศ แนะนำการขอทุนเรียนต่อ นิวยอร์ก UCL Alumni University College London おもちゃ 寄付 千葉 いらないおもちゃ 寄付 ใช้เงินน้อย ได้เงินคืน)

What if I have not completed 90 units and I don’t have at least a 3.75 GPA? Do they make exceptions? Am I not eligible?

Unfortunately.

Ms. Sun, I have a question about scholarships and financial aid I was hoping to confirm (as I’m not too knowledgeable about the topic at all). I was awarded the Regents scholarship, and have been awarded all of the aid that was needed to fill in the gap up to my estimated need. This leaves a parent contribution of about $4,100. So, is it impossible to eliminate that cost with more scholarships? Will any other scholarships just replace aid that has been contributed as a result of the Regents scholarship?

I guess what I’m getting at is, is there any point in me pursuing any other scholarships since my estimated need is being met entirely through the Regents scholarship? Is there any way to eliminate the parent contribution through further aid, or is that pretty much a fixed number, essentially capping my potential aid?

And as for the topic, if you are a TAP student you can apply for the TAP scholarship up to June 4th, but I guess you would probably already be aware of that if you completed TAP.

@rypken, definitely apply for other scholarships. “Outside scholarships” will be used to fill any unmet needs (in your case, the $4,100 parent contribution) and loans or work study before they eat into your grants and campus scholarships.
