I applied to both UCI and UCLA, Both as Biological Sciences Majors. UCLA requires one year of calculus for all life science majors. UCI does not. The highest level of math I have taken has been Intermediate Algebra in college. So does that mean I am automatically disqualified from the Major at UCLA? Will I be automatically rejected? All other sciences are complete e.g G-Chem, O-Chem… and all UC transfer courses will be complete by Spring 2016. I called the office of admissions at UCLA and the lady was very confusing and didn’t give me an answer.
