<p>Hey everyone! How is everybody doing? Well I had a couple of questions regarding transfer to UCLA… UCLA is my target school and currently I’m attending a CCC. I was wondering how hard is it to get into the Music History major without completing the TAP? The CCC I currently attend does have a honors program but no TAP, another CCC in my area offers the TAP program. How important is completing the TAP to get into the Music History major? Is it even worth me switching my CCC to get TAP certified? I know that TAP is absolutely nescessary for impacted majors…</p>

<p>since it is not an impacted major you don’t have to get TAP certified.
I’m apply as soc major and it is impacted but im not going to get TAP certified. just do your pre-req class w/ IGETC then u will be good!</p>

<p>I don’t think you necessarily need to switch CC’s. I go to De Anza and I plan on taking the TAP the required courses at Foothill College (De Anza’s sister college) while being enrolled as a full time student @ DA. You should find out if you could do something like that if you’re really adamant about being TAP certified. good luck.</p>
