<p>Plain and simple for you as a native californian:
UCLA is a zoo. Tufts isn’t.
One costs a lot more, one doesn’t.
Warm vs cold.
Hypercompetitive environment vs competitive with one’s self (with a few exceptions of course)
You have to fight tooth and nail for resources vs the resources are there for you</p>
<p>Are you a person that likes to get lost in a crowd or do you prefer individualized attention? Are you planning to go into the sciences or are you looking more towards the liberal arts? Do you enjoy sports? If you do, Tufts really has little school spirit compared to the bruin touchdowns making UCLA apparel 5% off with every successful run of the gamut :)</p>
<p>I had to make a similar choice to yours several years ago, and I don’t regret it.</p>
