I vote for WashU. The campus is stunning, STL is such a cool city with so many things to do (many free), the weather is quite a bit better than Evanston, and tons of great restaurants. I am sure there are direct flights from LA area so don’t think travel will be harder than to Chicago (likely less weather issues). Also WashU seems like it is an incredibly supportive environment s academically and socially.
