<p>i am a chinese international students who recently get only these two offers.
i like the student circle (especially my high school students 
) in ucla, but at the same time i love the global school system in nyu. here are questions-
1.can i choose the global exchange school myself in nyu? actually i chose Britain when applying for this school, but now i am kinda into Italy… won’t i be randomly assigned the New York-Shanghai school? 
2.i am afraid of loneliness. is it easy to make friends (especially with different ethnicities) in this two schools?
3. what is the life there like? (especially life after the exchange year in nyu)
4. i can play saxophone, and maybe i want to continue this interest, which school is better for this point?</p>
<p>if you were me, what would you choose?
