I am an undergrad at UCSC and, I recently got into Ucla and davis for computational bio. I am trying to go into AI. I know if I stay at UCSC, I will have a 3.6 GPA, so my question is: do u think its worth it to transfer?

Yes, definitely. UCLA has world-wide recognition and once you transfer your GPA will be reset anyways, and you have the chance to get a 4.0 undergrad.

Actually no, the GPA won’t be reset since you’re coming from another UC. They only reset GPAs for CC transfer students. That could be a good thing though because you already have a bit of a buffer while CC students are starting at nothing so it’s a lot harder for them.
