UCLA with a 3.3?

Quick question. I have a TAG for UCSB, but added UCLA to my application at the last minute (figured it wouldn’t hurt to apply since the app fee was being waived anyway). I have a 3.3 GPA, two Cs, which would normally throw me out of the running for any top school… but in the “additional comments” section I mentioned that I was recently diagnosed with a learning disability which affected my understanding of math and science, and because I passed both those classes I couldn’t retake them. Will this really make much of a difference? I’m applying as a communication major, for the record, and my personal statements are pretty good.

Sorry to say but communications is really really competitive at UCLA. The average GPA accepted for Communications is 3.94 I believe. Your chances, I hate to say, are very slim to nothing. Sorry.
