UCLA workload

is UCLA hard in the science caterogries like bio, physics, etc…? How many hours would i need to spend each day on the classes?

There’s no real answer. It depends on the professor, the series (for chem and physics), the students (since grades are curved, and probably half of them at the very least will be pre-meds [read: handful at least of studyholics]), etc. It also depends on how long it takes you to take in information (one that has to constantly reread, or one that can comprehend in just one read-through).

I agree with jyancy.
It depends on your study ethic and the level of expertise to which you can master these subjects. It solely depends on the individual. Professors can give you a ballpark [say 6 hours of outside preparation per week].

its hard, but then again, the science courses at most colleges are hard. btw, the answer to your question is also dependent on which professor you take, and how much of a background you have in the subject.

yeah, science is typically hard and unless you’re a genius who absorbs material through osmosis during lectures then you’ll be spending a decent amount of time studying (especially for classes that don’t assign hwk.)
