Incredibly grateful and proud of our student. Uconn snuck up on us, every visit has brought it more into focus and I think Storrs is a beautiful place to go to school. Hope others are getting what they want, and if they don’t, that they later learn it was to make way for something awesome!
@uniquefirsttry we had the same experience. The school crept up on us and each visit made us love it more.
@neugal99 i’d say possibly email admissions seeking an appeal to the storrs campus. i know my friend had to talk to someone as to why she should be at storrs and it ended up working. i can ask her what the steps she took were

I was accepted into Waterbury although my first choice of storrs. Does anyone know the best way to appeal or rather the best reason to ask for a transfer? I really want to experience the campus life and I may not have anywhere to live after this year which is why living on campus was my main priority.
