Mailman didn’t show up yet.
Does anyone know the likelihood of admissions office appealing my campus choice from a regional to Storrs?
I did not apply late but I have not receive any decision yet. It seems like lots of people got their admission status yesterday… Am I denied?
You have to check under “main menu” and then click “Self service” and then hit “student center.” Then it should say “check application status”
I was accepted to the college of engineering and i went under the new admit scholarship link and hit the accept button to the terms and conditions but i can’t seem to find the merit scholarship i was awarded. Does anyone know how to find it?
@gman2500 it’ll be in the packet that you’ll get in the mail probably early this week.
3.6 gpa 31 ACT OOS
No acceptance to nursing (first choice major) but got into exploratory storrs
@TOAOMC My D didn’t get a decision either. She applied in early December and submitted her sat scores around the same time. But the portal said her app was complete on Feb 13th, so I think her transcript was late. I’ve already reached out to her GC and hope to hear back on Monday. Does your application status say when your app was complete?
Got official acceptance package in the mail today, in Northwestern, CT. Merit aid and honors program
@Gman2500 - Congrats on your acceptance! Can I assume that you were notified of the merit scholarship via the online portal? If so, in what field was it reported to you? Excited for our D to be accepted but without merit UCONN would be out of the running.
@wcbike - Did you only find out about merit and honors via package in mail?
@ChillDad - Yes, there was no mention of it anywhere on my portal other than the “New Admit Scholarship Aceptance” link, which had no specific information.
What kind of merit aid is offering for OOS
Daughter from MA got letter of acceptance with mention of a $15,000 scholarship today for biomedical engineering.
@ChillDad Letter came to MA today with scholarship info.
@Tinag1223 - We are southwest of Boston. Not in mail today. Hoping for something on Monday. What part of MA are you from?
Just curious, for anyone with UConn experience. Daughter was accepted to Stamford campus, which we would likely not pursue, even though Uconn storrs would be a first choice. She is very close on the stats (1300 SAT), is there any process that would be worthwhile asking if they would re-consider her for Storrs?
@HankCT Would you consider doing one semester at Stamford and then transferring to Storrs? That is what many students have done. Where are you in CT? Stamford has nice housing now. DS has friends that transferred to Storrs after first semester, not ideal but worth considering. They took the gen ed requirements at Stamford. What’s your major? What other college options do you have?
It says on the website that I was accepted for the “Pre-Individualized” major within ACES. Does this mean I was accepted to the BS/MD program? Nothing in the mail yet.
Anyone instate get scholarship info yet?
