I transferred to Berkeley from a community college several years ago. I was a math major at Cal and got Cs in my math classes (c in linear algebra, c in abstract algebra, c+ in math stats, and P in probability). I’m now disabled and I’m thinking about returning to school some day. My options are UCR and CSUSB. Is there a big difference in quality between UCR and CSUSB? Is UCR more prestigious? Which school is better for getting a job? UCR is more expensive and further away from my house. I think if I attend CSUSB I would have to take 22 classes to graduate (based on my research). (At Cal, I only need 5).
Should I stick with mathematics or pick an easier major like economics? Which major is better for job prospects? My GPA at Cal was 2.9. Thank you!
