Does anyone have a preference on whether they prefer UCR or CSULB?
the more important question is which do prefer and why?
As a lifelong UCR Highlander, the campus has top notch programs (many in 2018 US News Top 100) and great people along with that University of California name known nationally and internationally. It is growing faster than ANY OTHER UC for a reason. I have heard a lot of good things about CSULB as well with a number of programs currently impacted which shows its popularity and demand. CSULB would be more affordable as well…you would probably be a commuter there. That is a pretty general question…depends on the major and the program. I would look at that as well as rank, and take a tour of each campus for sure as you can get a great education at either one!
