layout looks much better, but i’m used to ucla’s

i got confused trying to work ucr’s out =

But they’re both functional. And you go to UCLA.

So oh well.

Cry.

I am not about to commute 60 miles or more just because UCR’s schedule system is better.

UCLA, I must admit, is too big and too cluttered as far as their online resources are concerned. When you get to the people level, they’re generally all knowledgeable.

i dunno i still like UCLA’s…but man some of ucla’s other pages (or maybe all of them) are REALLY hard to navigate, its so frustrating.

UCLA’s website is hard to navigate as hell…they don’t even have a link to admissions on the front page

try to look for the community college to UCLA GE articulation lists. :D

you mean this?

http://www.admissions.ucla.edu/prospect/Adm_tr/tradms.htm#Major-Specific

probably not what you’re looking for specifically, but generally it’s there :)

nope. its not for transfer students. its for current undergrads who, for example, want to take summer school classes at a CC. it lists out what specific classes at what specific CC will satisfy what specific GE field. ;)

i know where its at. just trying to futher prove the fact that ucla’s website is virtually useless when trying to find information.

if it works for transfer students, it will work for undergraduates too…articulation depends on classes not the standing of the student

what about IGETC? that applies to non-transfers too?

Citan,

Are you always this warm and fuzzy?

BTW, “Prospective students” is a link on the main page, and is a decent alternative.

Citan has a point there. For instance if a UCLA Sophomore intends to take a Summer class at SMC (point here is that the student must make the early decision in schoosing the CCC), then perhaps they should go straight to www.assist.org. It should list all GE classes that UCLA and that CCC have agreed upon.

It’s a vice versa thing. I used that site to check the UCLA credits I would be getting if I were to transfer to UCLA. So a UCLA student just need to use the same site and reverse the process.

I’m kind of a fan of http://www.usc.edu/academics/classes/

man, you guys are missing my point

how hard it is to design a website?

Citan,

Ever designed one?

UCLAri: yes, two

Links, please. :)

Put them up to the fire, Mnsr.

check your PM
