My GPA is currently a 3.2, it went down b/c of my extra curricular activities. I am very involved and my SAT score 1120. I really I want to go to UCSC should I apply?
Are you in-state California? What is your UC GPA and EC’s? SAT score is out of 2400 or 1600?
Yes I’m in California! If I calculated correctly 3.25, Class president, key club, drama club, school plays…& out of 2400

Looking at UCSC’s admission statistics, UCSC is going to be a reach, if not a high reach, for you.
Have you thought about community college? Many California community colleges offer the TAG program, which will guarantee you a transfer to certain UCs, like UCSC.
Agree that UCSC is a Reach. CCC is a great option.
