<p>i currently go to a community college since my high school grades were poor due to laziness, but now my GPA is 3.7 and im starting my second year and i was wondering what would be a better option for pre med? Westminster College in Utah or one of the UC’s? i have no problem getting in Westminster since i only need 30 credits to transfer, it’s the UC’s which will be harder to get in to, but right now im leaning towards Westminster just because it’s a private college with only about 2500 students and a faculty to student ratio of 11:1, which i feel it may be more comfortable to study vs. going to a UC in SoCal where there’s partying going on all the time, as iv’e heard from my friends. Which of these would more likely allow me to be accepted into med schools? considering grade inflation, prestige, preparing for MCAT, etc.</p>

<p>Both would prepare you pretty well. I recommend you visit both campuses and decide which environment you would enjoy being for 4 years at. If you enjoy your UG school, chances are that you will succeed there too.</p>
