There was an EOP box to check and a small section to explain why you think you should be in it on the UC application. If you didn’t do that you’d have to apply once you submit your SIR I believe.

:) Ella89, are you planning on going to UCSB?

Where did you guys find your financial award? I clicked on my “unofficial award letter” when I logged into check my application status and it still says that my FAFSA was received sometime in January. Were you guys recently accepted or have been for awhile?

Has anyone been accepted into UCSB lately?

I just checked my unofficial award letter. Looks like I’ll be graduating with debt =P

has anyone been accepted to UCSB or REJECTED? i know people probably don’t want to advertise their rejection, but it seems like all i hear is acceptences on here. I’m worried that because i haven’t heard yet, it means rejection :(

who exactly do I contact if I have a question about the effects on my admission if I drop a certain class?

Call this number: (805) 893-2881

Tell them you want to know what will happen if you drop a class and they should transfer you to the person who reviewed your app so you can ask them

Ucsbgirl, it seems that unless there was some sort of error on your application or you didn’t meet the initial application requirements you won’t find out about a rejection until May 1st. You can hear an acceptance anywhere from now up until April 30th. And don’t take it A’s a rejection because you haven’t heard yet! I’ve been following this board for a minute and I’ve seen people with TAG and 3.8-4.0’s that haven’t found out yet!

anybody get accepted with Prechem or Prebio yet?

I heard of more than a few people who got rejected, I’ve also read of some rejects on the thread.

I wouldn’t take it as a rejection either…mainly because i have a ~3.6 gpa and a tag and I still havent heard back yet lol. However, I am also missing a pre-req for ucsb so mayybee I will get rejected? Couldn’t care either way because ucsb, in my humble opinion, is a smelly little school. I already got UCSD so…jussst waitingg for berk/la!

I got accepted prebio

im still decision pending!! This is killing me… Im a film and media studies major… does this mean im not in? I feel like the vast majority of transfers have already been accepted. :[

I’m a Poli Sci major and still pending for UCSD/LA/SB, i have all but one pre-req finished, i really spent a lot of time on the essay and everyone I showed it to told me that it was a strong asset to my app. as well as my EC’s, but as aforementioned by another poster, I guess only Cal and UCLA look at essays, and even then its for scholarship people. I’m also worried for UCSD, i completed all their pre-reqs for poli sci my first year in college and the only thing that was keeping me from their TAG was that I hadn’t fulfilled my math requirement, which I’m hoping they were able to see that I did it during winter session. good luck and keep ya head’s up. i can only imagine what people with TAG are going through >.<

Hey guys, I just checked and I’m admitted, History major, 3.46 GPA, TAG…ive been checking nonstop since march 21st and following this thread since then, and after all this time it turns out I ended up being admitted after all, so everyone still waiting to hear back, don’t worry, it’s definitely a highly likely possibility to still be admitted

Thanks for the heads up. My girlfriend just got in. Psych Major. 3.6+ with TAG!

Thank you for updating!!! I just checked and got in too! English Major 3.3 at the time (but 3.6 according to my TAP coordinators? – I probably can’t count) with TAG.

Woot, got in as well.

History
3.4
TAG

Got into both my backups; now I wait for UCLA next week. Feels good, man.

people that just got in, what letter does your last name start?
