<p>I told truth. Why do I bother to lie about such thing?? I am still in shock myself, and I don’t want to go to UCSB much, but this rejection makes me worry and I don’t think any other UC will accept me if UCSB even turn me down…</p>
<p>What made me mad if not just the rejection alone. It is the message they left for me to read… what do they mean?? They said they cannot select by the minimal standards. I was like, I am not the best student out there, but 3.88 is way above the minimal GPA. They just don’t show any respect at all. I just wonder is it really the reason why they reject me? cause of my GPA?</p>

<p>I did not complete all the class listed on assit.org for UCSB,tho. I finished all math and science, but missing like 1 or 2 engineering classes that are required. I thought about it and knew I might be turned down for that reason, but then people say there are many students who did not finished all classes, so I was still hoping. If they told me that they rejected me for missing some class, I will take it without a word of complain.</p>

<p>maybe they rejected me cause of grade trend? my GPA dropped from 3.98 to 3.88 by the end of fall…</p>
<p>Same here, not finished all the engr classes. Mine still pending, with 3.4 gpa. You know what, I was told that ucsb is on top 10 in mechanical engr.</p>

<p>Ella89- Yes, When I click unofficial award letter that’s where I got my award amount. I had checked a few days ago and it had said “system updating, check back in 15 minutes” and I checked it yesterday and it was up. I got accepted on the first Monday when acceptances had come out.</p>
<p>Indie- thanks. I got accepted the first Monday too, I also got accepted to EOP. Mine still says check back starting late March. I’m bummed, I could potentially be classified as out of state so I’m stressing. Hopefully it’s up soon. Thanks again.</p>

<p>I got my unofficial financial aid award sometime yesterday I believe. But I made an error so I spoke to someone in person during open house today, and they said they could readjust my awards. But once they submit your unofficial award, they can’t change it. They can only change it after you send in your SIR.</p>
<p>I hope that I get enough. I’m so stupid. Should have doubled checked my FASFA.</p>
<p>Hey Ella, I applied for EOP at csu’s but there was no where on the UC application for an EOP app. Can you tell me what’s up with that? Or dis they just tell you that you qualified for one??</p>
