*** still nothing… i bet the decisions are coming late, it looks like no sleep tonight again ):

this is RIDICULOUS.

Guys, my guess is we’re the ones who are on fences, so they needed the extra time to decide. They will not update it tonight, my guess is they will get back to work on it tomorrow afternoon.

They are due by tonight at midnight I thought…cause if people are choosing between state schools too, there SIRs are due tomorrow…? All and all this is ridiculous

I really doubt there’s a bunch of sweaty UCSB counselors sitting around a table right now reviewing our applications just to rush it in at this hour. Tomorrow’s Monday, I’m sure it be in then.

still pending!! :/

what bugs me is the fact that they didn’t send out an email saying they were going to take longer processing our applications! W T F!!

ahhhh get off work super late and it says still pending!! Can’t believe they pushed it passed the deadline! Well I have a TAG with UCSB and I’m still pending!

**** you ucsb.

Im going to call admissions at 10 am when they open and ask them what’s going on. I’ll let you guys know!

^^ya please let me know what they say.

Alright guys…so I just talked to admissions, they said they have 1000 transfer applications left to review and make decisions about. So the rest of the decisions will be released starting today around 4 or 5 Pm and all of the decisions should be finished by " the middle of the week"

The lady I spoke with said that all of us left that are waiting are in the " gray area", meaning they are not sure if they can admit us or not so need to read are apps etc…so we all still have a chance, but she made sure to let me know we are all in the gray area and said " they had a lot of tag students this year so the applicant pool was confusing" so people with lower or mid gpas that got in doesn’t mean if we have the same gpa but no tag we will get in. I think its strange she said we’re all in the gray area considering some people on here waiting already got accepted to ucsd, ucla etc.
Who knows! Admissions is nuts…all we can do is wait, but at least we still have a chance =

Gray area? Yep, I’m screwed.

Btw thank you for the info.

My life is a grey area and it will soon be turning black with rejection

Thank you Brittany. Let’s wish for the best and hope we all have backup schools. lol

Wow thanks for the information! I talked to a lady earlier and all she said was they are still reviewing and should be finished by the end of the week.

Haha ya lets hope we all do…speaking of back up schools, for everyone still waiting on admission decisions for UCSB, what school will you attend if you get denied by UCSB??

I have to pick between- UC Davis, UCSC, San Diego State, San Fran, and Cal Poly.

I narrowed it down to UC Davis or San Diego State. I don’t want to live in San Luis, and San Fran & UCSC don’t offer me the pre req I need for my masters. I may just go to a UC and then try and transfer to UCSD next year. I didnt apply there this semester because I didnt have all the pre reqs complete.

So does that mean people who filled out the TAG will be considered over the people who didnt?

I have a TAG but I’m worried I’ll make it into the school but not into the program or something. I just don’t understand why I’m still pending with a TAG! I was trying to choose between UCSC, Cal Poly SLO, CSULB, and SDSU for my second choice. The deadline to accept was yesterday for CSULB and Cal Poly and the deadline is today for SDSU. SB taking forever to respond can really screw it up for some people who applied to state schools. I think it’s ridiculous that we are still waiting to hear when they posted the deadline to be by May 1st! Yesterday was the deadline to accept to SLO and that was my second choice school, so I went ahead and accepted. I didn’t want to miss out on both schools. I really want UCSB though!

Uc Santa Barbras office of admission is working to complete the evaluation…blah, blah, blah, App’s are evaluated in RANDOM order, the fact that you have not heard from us is NOT a reflection of your admission.

Yep im screwed.
Good luck to everyone else.

@jenjennn20
the deadline to accept admissions to csulb isnt until June 1st…
