UCSB appeal 2010

<p>I just sent in my appeal and I had grade changes, a mistake on my transcript where there was a C- and a B both changed to A’s. I believe I had a really persuasive appeal as well as “new, compelling information” so what are my chances…?</p>

<p>Me:

  • President of two clubs; a junior sorority and AVID Club
  • 3.6 GPA
  • African-American female
  • took over 5 AP classes
  • passed the AP U.S. History test with a 4
  • in other clubs: BSU, Filipino, CSF (california scholarship federation), AVID club, the junior sorority
  • SAT Score, not great: 1610
  • Undecided major
  • umm, trying to think if i forgot anything -__- lol.</p>

<p>What attachments, if any, did you send with your appeal?</p>

<p>I sent two letters of recommendations from my current teachers & a copy of my transcript.</p>

<p>Oh and I also had a 4.0 GPA last semester that was avaliable for them to see on my transcript</p>
