<p>Some new people have been getting in recently! I also just tried to check my status and it says that its under maintenance until 9:30!</p>

<p>But yesterday I got an email from UCSB that said:</p>
<p>“You (sic) application has not been evaluated, as yet. If the evaluators have any questions when the time comes, you will be contacted by e-mail.”</p>
<p>Haha- I thought it was kind of funny that it had a typo… either they are THAT busy, or they have NO reason to reject me! :D</p>

<p>But i’m kind of confused about the email…are they just randomly emailing you telling you your app hasn’t been evaluated yet? this late? strange</p>
<p>Oh it wasn’t random- I emailed them on the 24th to say, “Yo what up?” Ok not really… but you get the gist. I didn’t want to call in because I knew how busy they’d be.</p>

<p>I checked yesterday and my decision was still pending and I just checked around 12:30 (pacific time) today and i was accepted. So they must have updated my decision sometime last night or this morning.</p>

<p>I dont know how to put my feeling into words…Just very unhappy! Because I need to go back to my country on mid-May so that I want to get everything settle before I go home.</p>
<p>Because I know I have to submit some additional docs, like financial aid doc, SIR, SLR, and so forth.</p>
<p>I found out that because I am completing my math this semester, there is a good chance that I wont be accepted into the schools that I applied. I applied to UCSB, UCLA, and UCB, and those are the only places I applied. I thought I would be in UCSB definitely. The counselor said that the only reason I haven’t been denied yet is because of my GPA, but they are looking at students who have completed their maths/science classes by the Fall first. If there is any room left over then I MAY be accepted. Grr.</p>
<p>If you haven’t completed one of those by the Fall, that is why you are still pending.</p>
<p>I think as long as you complete your pre-req before transfer, you will be fine, there is no reason to reject you for those pre-reqs being complete at the last semester. </p>
<p>I had completed all the pre-reqs last semester, and for the math classes, I got those done a year ago, and I still did not get accepted! </p>
<p>So I think your math class is fine. Wont hurt you</p>
