<p>This seriously sucks. No acceptances yet from UCI, UCD, UCSD, UCLA,UCB, USC and already have a rejection. Am I seriously at that big of a disadvantage transferring from a 4 year?? At least they let rejects know early…sigh…</p>
<p>@ hurryup Sorry man, that really sucks! You have a good gpa too. I heard that it’s almost impossible to transfer from a cal state into any UC though. They make it really hard for some reason. Harder than OOS transfers from other universities even. </p>
<p>I heard of someone who had to go back to a CC for a year and THEN applied to a UC just to have a real chance. I know it sucks, but if you’re really set on going to a particular UC you might consider transferring to a CC in its vicinity and transferring from there…</p>

<p>I heard it was hard to transfer also, but didn’t expect to be rejected from UCSB. They have a 70% admittance rate! I looked up stats, and last year out of 30 that applied to ucla, only 2 were amitted from csula =/</p>
<p>I think it may be because the courses are a little different. They have to be converted to cc courses then to uc transfer courses. The sad part is, I am currently full timing at both CSU and CC to finish up 90 semester units for transfer. I’m working my ass off right now and still able to maintain 3.775 GPA @61 quarter units as of Winter 2010. Currently finishing the remaining 29.5 units. I’m top 10% of the class and deans list. </p>
<p>I also faxed in my transcripts to list change of planned courses and they didn’t even review it. The document list says “not recieved” under transcripts. The only thing I am banking on is UCD. Hopefully I will get some official notification soon. I think UCLA and UCSD are out. Hopefully UCB will have a more comprehensive review of my file.</p>

2.7 gpa, no tag, igotc completed, 70+ transferable units. Um not sure if my essay was good or not since I wrote it. (I don’t understand how people can say if their essays are good or not unless you had an english professor edit it for you).</p>
<p>However I was unable to go because my dumbass thought i could drop my calc class and take it over the summer, but thats my fault for not talking to UCSB before. </p>
<p>I applied again this year. i’m not even taking any classes this year, just working full time. I’m not even stressing about UCSB since I got in ucsc already. (Funny, I was rejected from SJSU first before i got in to sc so i did worry for a minute)</p>
<p>However, I understand that its more competitive this year, but I still wouldn’t worry if you have a tag, or above 3.0-3.2 with igotc completion. =]</p>
<p>Yes! In!!! I was originally denied for unknown reasons, but after speaking with the admissions person she said there was a mistake. Two weeks later…accepted!</p>

<p>I’m a computer science major applying from another UC school. I had a 3.96 at the time of application and will have all prerequisites done by spring.</p>

<p>I starting to get really worried… It has been more than three weeks since the first batch. I think I am going to go to UCSB tomorrow and make the people in admissions go over my application to see if everything is fine. This is driving nuts.</p>
