UCSB Drama Department Questions

Hey, CC! I’m thankful I finally discovered how to post on here!
I’m going into my senior year at a performing arts high school in Ohio. have been doing acting for years, so I have a hefty resume in that area! My dream school is UCSB. Everything about it is picture perfect, and I believe that I would thrive in that habitat because I love the community and environment.
I can’t seem to find any information whatsoever on the admission process for Drama though! I have achieved many things through dramatic arts and I believe could potentially make me more desirable to the university. I have pretty good test scores (2000 SAT, 24 ACT), I’m a decent writer, and I have a lot of skills in other areas besides acting! However, my GPA is exactly a 3.4, the minimum requirement for applying out-of-state. Being out of state in itself is a major setback. I made almost all B’s, only sprinkled with A’s. I didnt understand the difference between an A and a B until it showed up on a number scale. I was always juggling shows, clubs, or concerts which made it very hard to put all of my time and effort into my assignments. Also, might I add, I went to the most academically challenging high school in Ohio before I transferred to my performing arts school last year. Maybe that will make a difference. I also am taking AP US History and 3 honors classes next year (Which, unfortunately won’t count because the UC’s do not look at senior year)

If my drama audition is extrordinary, is it possible I might be admitted to UCSB for drama? Am I judged less harshly than bioengineering applicants? Anything about the drama department would be so helpful! Thank you!
