If it helps, I was one of those students who had Stats in progress in the Spring along with my Writing requirement, and got accepted still! I’ve just read a couple threads where people were having this issue and got rejected, but it’s possible you won’t!

I have a 3.85 gpa i applied as an econ major, i finished all pre reqs have enough credits and have decent extracurriculars. I was denied, i am so confused, if anyone has any insight or a similar situation that would be appreciated.
Anyone know how they roll out their admissions decisions? Is it totally arbitrary? or do they do it my major, by TAG, or alphabetically? Also- does anyone have any insight on how a “W” looks to admissions officers? If you’ve exceeded 3 how much are your chances impacted?

Hi guys, so I got accepted to UCSB already but was wondering if anyone can help out.
I’m a pol sci major, but oddly enough UCI requires us to take a Intro to Python class…
and I’m litally dying in class right now, I have a boarderline C.
If i got a D or if I just got a “W” for this class (yes I will have to contact admissions right away), but do you think I’ll get rescinded?
I was accepted into Pre Econ Accounting and I’m currently taking World Literature (just a GE) and I’m not doing so well i don’t know what to do . If i drop it will my acceptance be revoked?

@busiibeee it will only affect your admissions decisions if that class makes you go below the 60 unit requirement.
