@scottythehotty I am as well pending.
@scottythehotty Mine is still pending too! I check it like 5 times a day!!
Quick question!
One of the conditions for transferring to UCSB after being accepted is that you must maintain a 3.0 GPA. Is the GPA only the transferable GPA or the overall GPA including classes that don’t transfer to UC?
@scottythehotty still pending…
@Rayche17 UC transferable coursework only!!
@scottythehotty still pending!
Do you guys think we will know by friday considering that the may 1st deadline is a sunday?
Aghhh! I got in! The wait was soo worth it!!!
@futureeechick That is sooo awesome!!! Congrats!!!
@cb1996 I am wondering the same thing! I am thinking like sunday at the very latest, like maybe it takes awhile for the decision to process in the system, so maybe that is why they said Sunday?? I don’t know!
@futureeechick Congrats! I checked my portal after I read yours and it says I have been admitted wooooooooo
@futureeechick Gz. Still pending for me…
@futureeechick
You going to UCSB or are you going to UCSC?
I just submitted my SIR to UCSB so I guess im a certified Guacho now XD.
Thanks @edawnc20!
@BlackPlasma glad you found out too, we’ve been suffering for way too long. I actually am deciding between UCSB and UCR but I’d have to be Math Science at UCSB vs Electrical Engineering at UCR. Congrats though I literally started crying when I checked.
I am currently taking to classes that I chose to fulfill my CSU requirements because I honestly thought I wouldn’t get into a UC. These two classes have nothing to do with my major and I have completed all prereq and igetc courses. Will dropping these two classes change my admission status? I really don’t want to take them and get a bad grade and would prefer to drop.
I called the admissions office and they said that once a decision is uploaded to the student portal, it is available for viewing the next day… so I guess we could technically find out sunday if they work on saturdays.
Anyone going to transfer guacho day?
which one will you choose?
@Rayche17 You should call your choice school before dropping anything! Take it from me- i didn’t talk to anyone before dropping a few classes, I didn’t think I needed them. Turns out, I did actually need them, so I had to go through a very long process to get those classes back. Now, I am behind in those classes. I lost money because of the mistake too! So definitely call the department, admissions, talk with you advisor, etc to make sure that you definitely don’t need the classes you want to drop.
@jelmax001 I have absolutely no idea.
@futureeechick
Good choice!
XD
