Does anyone know if the UCSB Grant and the Blue and Gold grant are the same thing?

@TransfertoUCLA yeah it’s a transferable math and I get it goes into my GPA but I’m just worried that a non-passing grade hinders my chances more than the GPA drop :-/ but yeah I haven’t updated my TAU since the January update because I was waiting for all the admissions to come out to directly message the schools that I got into (if any). Thanks for the advice!

Kay, cool— got a pretty decent UCSB Grant but above it also says “Congratulations are are eligible for Blue and Gold” so was confused

@FaithGraceUC i don’t think so, because blue and gold is for low income student and it’s supposed to cover everything… but i could be wrong. check the blue and gold website, or contact financial aid to get more information.
Yeah, it covers full tuition which my UCSB is also doing-- So that’s why I was wondering if it was the same or different. I guess if I decide on going I will have to call and ask about it. Blue and Gold will also cover housing on occasion which… would be nice…

i get 0$ on aid. zero freakn dollars. Not even considered a middle class wth… middle class ceiling is set at 156,000$ ish per year. okay so like if you have one engineer dad you’re apparently upper class according to the FAFSA class definition. fml
So I called them today because my financial aid information has not been uploaded and they said to wait a week since I just had recently been admitted today?

I really think my personal statements helped alot! Did not have the best grades but I have had a some serious health complications and challenges throughout my 2 years of community college! Hope this helps others to not give up, there is hope!!!
