@mmkelly1 I’m sorry to hear
What other schools have you applied to?
@hithereriss Hey! Another fellow partner! Congrats!! :-h
haha-- man if you make 150,000 a year you’re DEFINITELY middle class
Most aid goes to lower class (“lower income”) because they figure someone raking in 150,000 can throw out 14 grand for tuition with relative ease
Funny how they call it lower income but call it middle class…
@lostar it’s alright. I just realized a day or two ago that I was a unit and a half short of 60. So it was an inevitable rejection. I’ve decided to attend SF state next year!
@mmkelly1 Aww man! That case is not too uncommon, unfortunately. Best of luck to you and your future endeavors! Keep that head held high
any mechanical engineers hear back yet?

IGETC: yes
Prereqs: completed by fall
Pending: UCM, UCR, UCSB, UCI
I would really like to to go UCSB if I can I know my gpa is bit low but ive been getting better grades lately. Im hoping for the best!
HEYA-- are you already applied?
Or are you applying next fall?
If you’re applying next fall-- You gotta get that GPA up— most UC schools dont consider anyone under a 3.0.
Frankly for UCSB a 3.2 is shaky. So you need to work hard and keep your grades up-- but you can definitely do it
I already applied.
I already have a lot of units and I may be able to get it to 3.2 if I try really hard.
I was thinking the gpa is very low but my friends say I have a chance!
Yeah-- most UC schools need a 3.0-- but if you earn those grades to a 3.2 you def have a chance.
'If not this year, just take a few classes in your major and reapply and you’ll be okay
@jaleshaiker I got in for ME on april 4th. Check out my response on page 33.
WTF when did admissions come out??? I checked a few days ago but nothing showed up. just checked again now and got ADMITTED !!!
major: feminist studies

major gpa: 4.0
igetc: completed
pre-req’s: none offered at my cc
idk what other stats to put on here im just in shock, i was planning on going on the site and seeing nothing as usual
No, I’m blue and gold eligible and it does cover everything on paper technically, but only about half of it is free money. The rest are loans and work study. @gabyitzelq1 Or at least that’s how it was for me. @FaithGraceUC
I got full tuition covered from “UCSB Grant” and then loan offers-- if Blue and Gold is a different thing from the UCSB grant then I’m kinda confused
