@lanterngirl Well I think they are both the most impacted schools in the csu system right now. I was pretty much expecting to get rejected even though I actually go to school here in San Diego lol. One of my friends that had I believe 3.8 or 3.9 got rejected but made it into UCSD. Lot of people I know are either going to San Marcos or UCSD. The fact that the “locals” get preferences is also bs too. Either way I wasn’t really trying to go there because never really liked the school and some other people I know that go there, don’t really like it.

@Luis77777777777 Actuarial Science. Not as competitive of a major as others but still. I applied to a few other UC’s as well. OOS applicant so I’m surprised I’m being considered cause my GPA is a little above a 3.0. I had some good parts of my app though imo. Fingers crossed
Rejected … not sure why… people with lower gpa than me got accepted … it’s ok… I got into uc Davis …

Hello, everyone, I was admitted in Chemical Engineering on 04/21/17. Today, I checked my financial aid package. The sad thing is the school will not give me any financial assistance ($0). Only the Pell fund gives me $5920. Is that normal? What is your financial aid status?
