@kateee same thing happened to me. My counselor said that if it doesn’t show up by midday it wouldn’t be unjustified to give ucsb a call. However, they’re a small team dealing with thousands of prospective students.
I know waiting sucks, but patience and all that /:
What would make sense is to release the decision in thirds. 1/3rd on the 20th, 1/3rd on the 2nd, 1/3rd on the 16th? Well, not exactly that but better than 75% lol
Haven’t gotten accepted yet, but did we have to submit any additional financial aid info or was it just the FAFSA and Cal Grant?
Got my unofficial finaid today. Glad ucsb is being better than Ucsc… >.>

“…Did you apply for transfer? If so, we release transfer decisions on a rolling basis. Check your portal again April 2nd, 16, and the 30th at the latest! :)”
UCSB admissions twitter account just confirmed that there’s no order whatsoever for the rolling admissions and that being highly qualified doesn’t mean an earlier decision. This makes sense since just on this thread alone ppl with high gpa’s even with TAG haven’t heard back.
does anyone understand how the financial aid status thing works? i went through the summary & i don’t think i entirely understand the numbers & what is being offered
@matchamilktea it’s broken down by quarter and then it’ll list federal grants, school grants,and then loans.
