is admissions going by college ugh why is it taking so long i am so eager and cannot wait any longer !! does anyone know anything about when or what time they post decisions??
Anyone know about the STEM Transfer Summer Start Program? specifically when we would get “invited” and whether we need to accept admission before we are able to be invited?
Feeling really compelled to go to SB after being wait listed by CSU Long Beach. Gonna need friends and someone convince me to go please
Hi,
I am a transfer student who applied with a TAG in Econ for UCSB. On the portal it says congratulations you are in, but does not mention anything about TAG requirements, or what I have to maintain to keep my acceptance. Also they say my “unofficial” financial aid, I was wondering how close this estimate usually is, can I assume I will get most of this money?
Still Pending.
GPA: 3.54
Major: Pre-Communications
EC’s: Work and volunteer
Any ideas on if I have a good probability?
Still Pending
GPA: 3.52
Major: Pre-Political Science
ECs: Work at a tutoring center and stay home and take care of sister since both parents work. Transferring in one year.
Me too?
I hope this doesn’t end up being like the SLO acceptances where they released a small amount of acceptances and rejected and wait listed everyone who was “pending” after those initial acceptances
Also @AGGIES17 @hailey5799 there is a UC site where you can check the transfer GPA per major (just Google uc transfer GPA by major idk if I can post links here?) it’s a dope spreadsheet with every major ever
I had the same question so I sent UCSB an email asking, the reply I got made me even more confused then before I asked.
"For TAG, the minimum overall GPA of 3.2 includes all of your completed academic terms through fall 2017. Now that you have been admitted for fall 2018, you must successfully complete your “In-Progress” academic term(s) winter 2018 and spring 2018 each with a minimum GPA of 3.0 (no grades lower than “C”). If you receive any grades below “C” in winter 2018 and spring 2018, your admissions for fall 2018 will be withdrawn. "
I tagged with 3.22 to UCSB and got accepted this year
They roll out TAG results on one of the last days
if you’ve satisfied all the requirements you’re getting admitted 100%
I knew i was good but was nervous till last minute
I just wanna say you guys are good don’t even worry focus on your cc rn
@Catsandphysics I know. I have all three of them bookmarked.
Checked portal and was accepted into the college of engineering (No TAG).
does it mean anything if your decision is pending but when you click the financial aid link It shows the green checkmark confirming they’ve received your fafsa? it hasn’t been able to be seen until now…
@wwoooohoo mine says no financial aid info available at this time
@wwoooohoo Mine used to say, “No financial aid info available”, and now has a green checkmark as well. Maybe we’re in the next batch to be released on Tuesday, April 3rd.
@wwoooohoo yeah mine changed to that too. i hope that’s what it means!!
@biochembbs9 same
What are the batch release dates?
@Charlie117 The only one I remember is APril 2nd
My financial aid page also has the green checkmark! Yay
