@kristinpete Hey. I live in SB and people here are amazing, and the city is gorgeous. But you do have to keep in mind that UCSB is a party school

I plan to appeal because my first year of cc went poorly and I failed a few classes. I had to use one of those failed classes in my application because I couldn’t repeat it until spring 2019. After this semester is over my GPA should be 3.22 so I think I will have a strong case for admission hopefully!
