@ashyashy Where did you hear that? First-round already went out to freshman in form of Chancellor meetings but I haven’t heard anything about transfer students yet.
Transfer decisions don’t begin to release till March 19th and then throughout April
Apparently, UCR has already released decisions on the UCR thread.
@KeepItCool Yeah I think UC Merced, Riverside, and Santa Cruz have already released some transfer decisions, but no other UCs yet

My daughter is sociology major as well?. And applied to the same schools at you. Plus Long Beach, Chico, Sac, and Humboldt. Accepted so far: SDSU, LB, Chico, Sac , Humboldt ( calpoly just today)

@90smix and @kristinpete Yes, I am wondering that too- who has gotten into UCSC so far as a transfer. This is nothing on the UCSC transfer thread about anyone getting on yet. I am wondering if any of the dates have to do with when your TAU was submitted?
@kristinpete @spiritualgift IDK I could be wrong! Someone on Reddit said they got in as a transfer at UCSC, they might have just meant that they got their TAG approved lol idk
After today only 6 more days until the first decision batch is released!! Almost there!

Most likely was sent to every applicant. They cannot assume everyone is single and doesn’t have a child.

so I am getting a little restless waiting so I stalked the UCSB admissions twitter page and I saw that last year they tweeted this on the first decision day:
“Transfer decisions go live at 3 p.m. PST! About half of the transfer decisions will be posted today at 3 p.m. If yours isn’t up, check back on April 2 and April 16 for our second and third release days!”
I wonder if it will be the same this year with half of the decisions coming out on Tuesday?
