I am choosing between going to Notre Dame and UCSB, and i know that notre dame has a great alumni system where u get jobs easily but is it the same with UCSB?..I am totally split on where to go and i like many aspects of santa barbara and notre dame…will i lose a lot of prestige going to UCSB
which one should i choose? i like CA a lot, but i like ND also a lot too.</p>
<p>alums aren’t going to be lining up to hand you jobs just because you went to ND; even if they have a preference for ND kids, they’re going to be picking kids that did well. And kids that do well have lots of opportunities…</p>
<p>These 2 schools are so different in atmosphere! You should try to visit both or at least really look into the differences and figure out which would be more rewarding to you for 4 years. Make your decision based on that, not on whether some hypothetical alum is going to help you out 4 years hence.</p>
